GER DISTRICTS' PEOPLE WILL GROW VEGETABLES

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ “Improving a life of ger districts' people” project is to be implemented in the city's Bayanzurkh district funded by Japan International cooperation agency /JICA/.
The project memorandum has been signed by a resident representative of JICA to Mongolia, Toshinori Isogai, a governor of the district B.Batzorig, a rector of Japanese Saitama university Yoshihiko Kamii, and a head of aids and cooperation policies department of Finance Ministry Kh.Baavgai.
In 2008, the university realized a “Provinces' social development” project in this district to improve ger districts' life surrounding. That time, six family of 24th khoroo planted vegetables for their food supplies. This time, the project has involved 13th, 19th and 24th khoroos of Bayanzurkh district and pupils of 53th school to have them plant vegetables and improve family income. The project is to be implemented April 2011-March 2014.
