DRAFT BASIC GUIDELINES SUBMITTED TO PARLIAMENT

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A head of the Cabinet Secretariat of Government Ch.Khurelbaatar submitted Monday to the Speaker D.Demberel a draft of basic guidelines of Mongolia's socio-economic development until 2012.
The bill shall be submitted to parliament within every year's May 1 accorded with the activity plan of the government and pursuant to the law on management and financing of budgetary organizations.
The draft reflects factors that affect Mongolia's competitiveness, and solutions for intensifying the country's economics and improving the competitiveness. As Khurelbaatar has underlined, the basic guidelines will be a policy document to intensify a preparation for putting the biggest mineral deposits and mines into economic circulation, which is listed in priorities of the National Development Policy, to ensure the infrastructural development, and to implement the biggest projects and measures.
The draft basic guidelines consists of 142 measures in six chapters, and needs a financing of MNT 3.6 trillion.
The same day, a Minister of Finance S.Bayartsogt submitted a statement of budgeting framework of Mongolia for 2012 and a draft resolution of parliament on approving the budgetary assumption of 2013-2014.
