MONGOLIAN WRITER'S BOOK TRANSLATED INTO BULGARIAN

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ On occasion of the 90th birth anniversary of Sonomyn Udval, a writer and famous social figure, her book named "Khovor khun" (Unusual person) has been translated into Bulgarian language. An inauguration of the book took place April 28 in the Embassy of Mongolia in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Co-organized by the Embassy and the Udval Foundation, the book presentation has brought together some 60 guests such as A.Orbetsov, a director of the Department of Asia, Australia and Marine Countries of Bulgaria's Ministry of Foreign Affairs; diplomats from the Foreign Ministry; A.Fedotov, a Mongolist; and N.Nikolov, a head of Bulgaria-Mongolia Friendship Society.
The Mongolia's Ambassador to Bulgaria Ts.Gankhuyag has underlined that S.Udval was an outstanding figure and writer not only nationwide, but also worldwide. "...For her merit, she was awarded with the Joliot-Curie Gold Medal of Peace and the Lotos Prize of the Association of Asian and African Writers," he said. A leader of the Udval Foundation B.Onorbaatar has spoken about the translated book and her biography.
Speeches dedicated to Udval have been given by N.Nikolov and a first director of Bulgarian Cultural Center in Mongolia. B.Khuder
