MEETING OF EXPERTS AND COOPERATIVES
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Dedicated to the International Year of Cooperatives, a group of experts will run a meeting May 3-6 in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia under a theme "Role of cooperatives in social development since 2012".
Opening the meeting, the Deputy Premier M.Enkhbold, and a Vice Speaker and head of the National Unified Association of Mongolian Cooperatives N.Enkhbold will give speeches. A report will follow them of a Vice Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry Kh.Zoljargal on cooperatives-targeted policy and measures of the Government at a meeting titled "Supporting development of cooperative: Strategic methods of propagandizing cooperative to the public".
Co-organized by the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and UN Department of Socio-Economic Affairs, the meeting is expected to gather officials from the United Nations, International Labor Organization, International Cooperative Association (ICA), as well as representatives of USA, Canada, Germany, the Philippines, Japan, Kenya, Sweden and Vietnam.
