ABOUT MEETING OF CENTER OF MONGOLIAN STUDIES

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ An annual meeting of the American Center for Mongolian Studies (ACMS) was held April 28 in Johns Hopkins University, Washington D.C, USA.
William W. Fitzhugh, the ACMS's president and a researcher of the Smithsonian Institution has given an openning speech, then Dr. Charles Krusekopf, an executive director of the ACMS has reported on the works done in 2010.
A key report has been delivered by Dr. Ts.Uranchimeg, a researcher. Presenting some evidence and paper documents, she has criticized the ways the Mongolian museums preserve rare artworks and underlined that a safety of the Mongolian artworks is in dangerous condition.
After the meeting, a small concert and a reception were given to the guests of the ACMS.
The gathered have agreed to hold the meeting next year in Toronto, Canada.
