Syrian President receives Abdullah bin Zayed

Damascus - May 3, 2011 (WAM) - President Bashar al-Assad of Syria on Monday discussed with UAE Foreign Minister HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the latest developments in the Arab region, particularly in Yemen in light of the Gulf initiative to solve the crisis there. Talks during the meeting also dealt with the measures taken by Syria as to overcome the current stage and boost the reform process on all levels, Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported.
