CABINET BACKS BILL ON AUTOMATED SYSTEM OF ELECTION VOTING
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ On Tuesday, the cabinet meeting backed in principle a draft law on automated system of election balloting, and decided to convey some proposals to the bill's initiators.
Worked out by J.Sukhbaatar and other MPs, the bill aims to refine the ballot system in whole. The cabinet has considered as necessary to firstly study matters on running elections and on altering related rules in order to finally work out the bill.
Additionally, the cabinet has highlighted requirements to accord the new system with the revised civil registration.
The cabinet's proposals also have reflected a matter on manual counting the voting papers in case of any disagreement and dispute.
