HELICOPTER CRASH IN GULF SEA KILLS SEVEN
DUBAI, Sept 4 (Bernama) -- A helicopter crashed in the Gulf sea on Wednesday, killing all seven passengers and crew aboard.
The helicopter was flying from Dubai International Airport to one of the
oil fields in the Gulf sea area, Dubai's General Civil Aviation Authority said
in a statement Thursday.
"The B212 helicopter carrying seven persons crashed in Gulf sea on Sept 3
at 20:23 local time," it said.
Those killed were one American, one British, two Indians, one Pakistani,
one Filipino and one Venezuelan.
"An investigation is currently underway to determine the causes of the
crash," the statement added.
