Azerbaijan to have its own pavilion at Cannes festival
Baku, May 10 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan will launch its first ever pavilion at this year`s Cannes film festival in France, said culture and tourism minister Abulfaz Garayev.
The pavilion will highlight Azerbaijan-made films and ads.
The minister said the launch ceremony will take place on May 14 and will be attended by a large Azerbaijani delegation.
Garayev noted: “Also in France we plan to sign preliminary documents with Jerard Depardieu who will star in Azerbaijan-made films.”
