CIS Heads of Government to gather in Minsk 19 May

Baku, May 12 (AzerTAc) – The CIS Council of Heads of Government will meet in Minsk on 19 May.
The agenda of the Council`s 57th session will include 19 issues. The Heads of Government will focus on economic relations among the CIS member states. They will discuss an agreement on free economic zone and a draft project of an Interstate Program on Innovational Cooperation.
Meetings of the heads of government in three formats are scheduled for 19 May. This day a session of the Council of the CIS Heads of Government will be held followed by a sitting of the EurAsEC Interstate Council on the level of the heads of government. Besides the EurAsEC Interstate Council (supreme body of the Customs Union) featuring the heads of government of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia will be held.
The issues to be discussed at the meeting will also include cultural, educational and humanitarian cooperation, security and food security.
