National leader`s birthday marked abroad

Baku, May 12 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s embassy in Belarus has organized an event to commemorate the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
The event was attended by members of the Azerbaijani community, intellectuals and students.
Opening the event, ambassador Isfandiyar Vahabzade spoke of the national leader`s merits to the Azerbaijani people.
He said a new page was opened in Azerbaijan`s history when the national leader came to power again in 1993.
He noted all accomplishments the country achieved are the results of the national leader`s forward-looking policy which is successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev.
The event participants saw a documentary on the national leader`s lifetime and activity.

The 88th birthday of national leader Heydar Aliyev was organized in UADE University in Argentina.
Speaking at the event, Ambassador Mammad Ahmadzade briefed the participants on the national leader`s role to protect the Azerbaijani statehood and strengthen the country`s independence.
The diplomat noted President Ilham Aliyev successfully continues the national leader`s wise policy.

Addressing the event, Ambassador Hasan Hasanov briefed the participants on the role of national leader Heydar Aliyev in building and development of the Azerbaijani statehood. He also touched upon Azerbaijan-Poland relationship.
