AZPROMO and Movement of French enterprises sign MoU

Baku (AzerTAc) - Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) and the Movement of French enterprises have signed a memorandum of understanding within the framework of symposium “Caucasus and Central Asia” held in Paris.
The event organized in France Senate brought together representatives of the Movement of French enterprises, French Trade Commission Ubifrance, France`s Agency for International Investment, French Chamber of Commerce, Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) and Azerbaijan Embassy in France.
Addressing the symposium chairman of French Senate Gerard Larshe underlined Azerbaijan being one of the leader countries in the South Caucasus and Central Asia regions, according to press service of Azerbaijan Ministry of Economic Development.
President of the French Trade Commission Ubifrance Alain Cousin provided information on activity of organization stressing the necessity of holding such events in the countries of South Caucasus and Central Asia regions.
President of AZPROMO Adil Mammadov briefed on progress achieved in Azerbaijan`s economy, suitable business environment in the country, investment and export opportunities.
Representative of AZPROMO provided information on non-oil sector of Azerbaijan, tax system, investment potential at the round table “How enter into markets of Caucasus and Central Asia?”
Representatives of AZPROMO also held meeting with the Invest in France Agency (IFA), national agency responsible for promoting and facilitating international investment.
