WAM wins best media coverage award at Arab Media Tourism Forum

Sharm El-Sheikh - May 16, 2011 (WAM) - The Emirates News Agency (WAM) has walked away with the top laurel of media coverage at the Arab Media Forum on Tourism which concluded here recently.
Khaled Khalil, Deputy Chairman of the Arab Centre for Tourism Media, said WAM had won the best media coverage award for spreading news reports of the conference to more than 39 newspapers and news websites. Egypt's Middle East News Agency (MENA) and Jordan News Agency (PETRA) took the second and third awards respectively. He treasured the significant role WAM had played in covering and relaying all events concerning the forum. WAM has also given wide coverage of UAE's participation in the event as news of activities of the UAE delegation appeared extensively in UAE dailies. - Emirates News Agency, WAM
