Head of Caucasian Muslims Board leaves for Uzbekistan
Baku, May 17 (AzerTAc). A delegation of Azerbaijan led by the Head of the Caucasian Muslims Board Sheikh-ul-Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh has left for Uzbekistan.
The delegation consists of members of High Religious Council of Caucasian Peoples- Caucasus muftis.
The aim of the trip is to visit religious educational institutions Caucasus`s religious figures graduated from, also to thank the government and people of Uzbekistan.
Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh and Caucasian muftis will also visit Mir-i-Arab madrasah in Bukhara, cities of Tashkent, Bukhara, Samarkand, historical, religious places of Uzbekistan and meet with students of the Tashkent Islam University.
The delegation is scheduled to meet Uzbek officials.
The visit will end on May 21.
