Banking Association for Central and Eastern Europe to hold meeting in Istanbul
Baku (AzerTAc) - An annual general meeting of the Banking Association for Central and Eastern Europe (BACEE) and business forum as a part of the meeting will be held in Istanbul on June 15.
BACEE organizes the meeting in association with the Banks Association of Turkey.
Azerbaijan will be represented by Chairman of the Board International Bank of Azerbaijan Jahangir Hajiyev in the event.
The session will provide excellent opportunities to learn about the recent developments in the economy and the banking sector in Turkey, Central, Eastern and South Eastern Europe and the CIS in special panels organized along these geographical areas.
BACEE was founded in 1996 with the goal of promoting business relations of its member banks with financial institutions of Central and Eastern Europe.
On the other hand, BACEE provides consulting services to its CEE member banks which want to develop a more active presence in international markets. These services include suggestions regarding business policies, transparency, and presentation of the banks’ documentation to foreign counterparts, pre- and post-rating advisory services, and attraction of credit lines from foreign banks and international financial institutions and preparation for sale to foreign investors.
