PRESIDENT OF ACADEMY OF SCIENCES VISITS HUNGARY


Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The president of the Academy of Sciences of Mongolia (AS) B.Enkhtuvshin has paid a working visit to the Republic of Hungary.
In scope of his visit, B.Enkhtuvshin has visited the Scientific Institute for Livestock Breeding and Fodder at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, located in Herceghalom. Then he has met with Ratki Janos, the institute's director, and got acquainted with the institute's activities and external relations. Mr. Janos has expressed a willingness to cooperate with Mongolia in the agricultural sphere by improving livestock breeding and fruits of fodder.
Moreover, the AS's president has met with Nemeth Tamas, the secretary-general of the Academy of Hungary. They have expressed a satisfaction with widening of the collaboration between the two academies, and emphasized an importance to update the cooperation memorandum in order to keep the beneficial collaboration. Mr. Tamas has underlined that about 40 scientific institutes at the Hungary's Academy of Sciences are able to develop direct collaboration with same institutes of Mongolia.
After this, B.Enkhtuvshin has got au fait with rare Mongolian books and handwritings stored at the Academy of Sciences' library. This library saves the dissertation for doctor degree of outstanding scholar B.Rinchen.
On May 19, B.Enkhtuvshin attended an international scientific conference themed “Scientific and technological reforms” held in the Technical University of Hungary. He has delivered a reported titled “System of innovation in Mongolia: Role of Academy of Sciences”.
