‘Israeli parliament will not recognize so-called Armenian genocide’

Baku, May 23 (AzerTAc). “Israel is Our Home” faction at the Knesset (parliament) will make all efforts to prevent recognition of the so-called “Armenian genocide”, Israeli deputy foreign minister Danny Ayalon said.
The deputy foreign minister noted “we can not damage our relations with Azerbaijan, our major strategic partner in the Muslim world, because of controversial issues on events of centenary remoteness.”
He added Knesset would not recognize the so-called Armenian genocide. Those, who intend to reach it, have no chance.”
