President of International Association of Prosecutors visits Azerbaijan`s Supreme Court

Baku, May 24 (AzerTAc). President of the International Association of Prosecutors James Hamilton has visited Azerbaijan`s Supreme Court where he met its chairman Ramiz Rzayev on Monday.
The chairman informed James Hamilton on the structure and activity of the Azerbaijan`s Supreme Court. He said that Azerbaijan successfully cooperates with developed countries in the judicial and legal field both in the bilateral format and within international organizations.
Ramiz Rzayev expressed his satisfaction with joint cooperation between the International Association of Prosecutors and the anti-corruption department under the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan to fight transnational crime, in particular, illegal drugs turnover, money laundering.
President of the International Association of Prosecutors James Hamilton said that the Office of the Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan and Military Attorney Department have been members of the Association since 1988. He stressed the website of the association facilitates contacts among prosecutors.
President of the International Association of Prosecutors became familiar with the administrative building of the Supreme Court, environment created here for judges and visited a Court History Museum.
