Azerbaijan participating in Friendly Cultures Fair in Mexico
May 25 (AzerTAc). The traditional Friendly Cultures Fair 2011 has started in Mexico City. The fair, to last 15 days, was organized by the Mexico City government for popularization of cultures of different countries through their diplomatic representations accredited in Mexico. The Azerbaijani Embassy in Mexico is participating in the fair under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
The fair is being held at the Paseo de la Reforma, one of the largest and central avenues of Mexico City. Millions of local residents and tourists are visiting the fair every day.
The Azerbaijani Embassy is displaying national souvenirs, carpets, materials about the history, culture, traditions of the country, as well as Armenia`s aggression.
Visitors are receiving T-shirts, caps, mugs, wall clocks and other items with the slogans “Karabakh, Azerbaijan,” “Azerbaijan -Land of fires” as well as various national sweets.
