China opens exhibition on Azerbaijan
Beijing, May 26, (AzerTAc). An opening ceremony of an exhibition about Azerbaijan within the framework of Culture days in China was held in Pudu temple, Beijing on Wednesday.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Azerbaijan Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz Garayev said that Azerbaijan and China have ancient and rich cultures. He stressed such events bring closer the nations of the two countries.
Azeri minister expressed his confidence that Chinese art lovers will get all-round information about Azerbaijan.
Official of Chinese culture Ministry Ms. Lee stressed significance of the exhibition for popularizing Azerbaijan culture in China.
Examples of Azeri national dress also aroused interest among Chinese art lovers.
About 500 books taken from Baku`s Miniature Book Museum were on display at the exhibition.
