President of French Guimet museum holds meetings during his visit to Baku

Baku, June 4 (AzerTAc). President of the French Guimet museum Mr. Jacques Gies held several meetings during his visit to Azerbaijan`s capital.
President of the museum visited the Gobustan State historical-artistic preserve, the Maiden Tower art gallery, the Office of Ichari Shahar (Inner City) State Historical-Architectural Reserve, Miniature Book Museum, the Shirvanshahs Palace Complex, Art Gallery, Azerbaijan State Museum of Art named after Rustam Mustafayev, Museum of Azerbaijan Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi and National Azerbaijan History Museum.
The discussions focused on prospects of Azerbaijan-France cultural relations.
President of the French museum Guimet Mr. Jacques Gies is expected to visit the Museum of Modern Art, Gala Archaeological–Ethnographic Museum Complex, the State Museum of Azerbaijani Musical Culture, Azerbaijan Carpet and Folk Applied Art State Museum and new building of the Carpet Museum.
