Azeri FM makes remarks at Atlantic Council
Baku, June 4 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Foreign Affairs Minister Elmar Mammadyarov spoke at the Atlantic Council, think tank and public policy group in Washington.
The event was attended by U.S administration, Department of State, Department of Defense and employees of other government bodies, experts on the region, and representatives of diplomatic corps accredited in the United States.
In his remarks Mammadyarov said Azerbaijan is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its independence this year.
He also told about successes achieved during the past 20 years, regional events, economic progress and Nagorno-Karabakh peace process.
