Azerbaijan-US relations develop in all spheres, particularly in energy one, Morningstar

Baku, June 8 (AzerTAc). Special Envoy of the US Secretary of State for Eurasian Energy Richard Morningstar has said relations between Azerbaijan and the United States are developing in all spheres, particularly in energy one.
Richard Morningstar met with president of Azerbaijan`s state oil firm, SOCAR, Rovnag Abdullayev, on the sidelines of the Caspian Oil & Gas Exhibition and Conference.
Morningstar said speedy development of Azerbaijan aroused great interest to Caspian Oil & Gas Exhibition. He noted he would spare no efforts to contribute to expanding the Azerbaijan–US bilateral relations.
SOCAR`s president praised American oil and gas companies` contribution to developing Azerbaijan`s energy sector. Abdullayev highlighted Azerbaijan`s achievements in oil and gas industry, stressing his country`s role in European energy security.
US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Matthew Bryza was also present at the meeting.
