Baku to host BSANNA General Assembly
Baku (AzerTAc) - The State Telegraph Agency of Azerbaijan (AzerTAc) will host the 5th General Assembly of the Black Sea Association of National News Agencies (BSANNA) on Monday.
The decision to hold the BSANNA assembly was made at the 4th BSANNA General Assembly held in March 2010 in Tbilisi.
AzerTAc will take over the BSANNA Presidency from Georgia`s GeoHotNews agency.
The meeting titled “Innovative Development: transparency and modernization” will bring together heads and high-ranking representatives of national news agencies from Turkey, Russia, Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, Greece and Macedonia.
BSANNA member-agencies exchange photo and news, support and develop the joint web-resource
AzerTAc effectively uses BSANNA`s website, which posted agency`s 2448 news items in 2010 and 407 during five months of the current year. AzerTAc is always first and second in terms of the number of news items posted on the BSANNA`s web-resource.
