Azeri Defense Minister meets Uzbek counterpart
Baku (AzerTAc) - Defense Minister of Azerbaijan Safar Abiyev has met today Uzbek counterpart Kabul Berdiyev.
Prior to the meeting, the Uzbek minister visited the Alley of Honors to pay respect to national leader Heydar Aliyev and Alley of Martyrs to commemorate Azerbaijani heroes who gave their lives for the country`s independence and territorial integrity.
The talks during the meeting focused on development of military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan and military and political situation in the region.
