Azeri Premier meets Uzbek Defense Minister
Baku (AzerTAc) - Azerbaijan`s Prime Minister Artur Rasizade has met Uzbek Defense Minister Kabul Berdiyev.
The discussions focused on the current state of and prospects for historical friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
Rasizade underlined the necessity of development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in all spheres, as well as defense one. He said strengthening of diplomatic ties would contribute to establishment of military and legal basis between the two countries.
Touching upon the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, the Premier said the problem must only be settled on the basis of Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity.
Berdiyev, in turn, said his country supports Azerbaijan`s position on settlement of the conflict.
The sides also discussed issues regarding development of relationship between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
