GOIC to Hold a Financial Analysis Workshop in Austria
Doha , June 14 (QNA) - The Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) will hold a workshop from July 4-8, 2011 in Austria on financial analysis in cooperation with United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), a statement from the Doha based Organization said on Tuesday.
The program intends to increase the individual and organizational capacity in the industrial sector. The workshop mainly targets improving the participators ability in project development cycle & Pre-investment studies, feasibility study and project preparation and financial analysis structure among other modules.
The workshop will raise the ability of finance specialists such as investors in planning the future of industrial development in the GCC by anticipating the economic climate through a number of important economic indicators, that will allow them to draw up a strategy and understand the effect of changes globally on the balance sheets of their respective companies, the statement said.
It will also allow them to draw up protection systems for risk management.
The workshop will also contribute in improving the abilities of the participants in analyzing the current economic climate to anticipate the future and become able to evaluate investment projects financially.
Established in 1976 by the GCC member states, GOIC has grown to become the advisory institution of credibility for companies, governments, chambers of commerce and investors with any interest in the GCC. (QNA)
