Azerbaijan`s new ambassador to Moldova presents credentials to Deputy FM

Baku (AzerTAc) - Azerbaijan`s new ambassador to Moldova Namig Aliyev has presented his credentials to the country`s Deputy Foreign Minister, Andrey Popov.
During the talk following the ceremony, the Deputy Foreign Minister spoke of acting President of Moldova, parliamentary speaker Marian Lupu`s meeting with President Ilham Aliyev in a ceremony held recently in Rome to mark the 150th anniversary of Itay`s unification. Popov noted the acting President of Moldova would visit Azerbaijan in the near future.
The Deputy Foreign Minister pointed out the appointment of new ambassador of Azerbaijan to Moldova would contribute to developing relationship between the two countries even more.
Popov expressed confidence that ambassador Aliyev would make efforts towards boosting cooperation within GUAM, OSCE, UN and EU`s Eastern Partnership program.
Aliyev, in turn, vowed to do his utmost to contribute to expanding relations between Azerbaijan and Moldova.
The diplomat will present his credentials to acting President Lupu on June 22.
