Iran dismisses claims of involvement in Syrian affairs
TEHRAN, June 18 (MNA) – The Foreign Ministry on Thursday rejected unfounded claims by certain British officials that Iran interferes in the internal affairs of Syria.
The British secretary of state and other officials have repeatedly claimed that Iran is assisting the Syrian government in suppressing protestors.
In a statement, Iranian Foreign Ministry said the move is aimed at damaging Iran’s reputation in the region.
