Nujeifi: solving political disputes comes only by implementing Erbil agreement

Baghdad (NINA) – Parliament Speaker Osama Al Nujeifi stressed “bringing viewpoint together could not be achieved unless all items of Erbil agreement were fulfilled.”

Nujeifi’s media office quoted him as saying ”any decision about new security agreement with the US will be a tough decision under the current political status. It would not count on Iraq’s need only, but also on each political party’s need to the stay of the US troops or not.”

“Two very important issues are impeding the democratic process stability, they are; external interventions, and the tendency to monopolize power that started to grow inside some Iraqi leaders,” Nujeifi added during reception of the American Peace Institution today.

He continued “Iraq needs the international community’s efforts to succeed its democratic experiment.” /End/
