MONGOLIA-SWITZERLAND CONSULTATIVE MEETING HELD
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The second political consultative meeting between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Swiss Confederation ran June 18-20 in Ulaanbaatar, co-chaired by D.Tsogtbaatar, the State Secretary of Mongolia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the State Secretary of the Federal Department for Foreign Affairs (FDFA) of Asia-Pacific Affairs.
The sides have concluded a present situation of the Mongolia-Switzerland relations and cooperation in the political and economic spheres, shared views on projects and programs to be co-implemented.
The sides have discussed ways of forwarding the cooperation in the economic and trade, creating economic interests of Swiss side in Mongolia, augmenting investments.
The two countries have noted that projects, implemented by the UB-based Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation's (SDC) representative, have outcome in reducing a poverty, supporting local development, creating job places.
In accordance with a decision of the meeting, the next consultative meeting will take place in 2012.
