MONGOLIAN FESTIVAL RUNS IN POLAND

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Mongolian Naadam festival has taken place in Warsaw, Poland.
It has been dedicated to the 2220th Anniversary of the Founding of Mongolia's Statehood--Hun Empire, the 100th anniversary of the Revolution for National Freedom and the 90th anniversary of the People's Revolution.
This event has been co-organized by the Association of Mongolians in Poland, the Society of Medical Doctors, the Union of Mongolian Students and the Embassy of Mongolia in Poland.
The action consisted mainly of wrestling and archery tournaments, a concert of a folk group from the State University of Arts and Culture. Some 1,000 Polish have enjoyed long song, Morin Khuur (horsehead fiddle), khoomii (throat singing), Mongolian traditional dance and music, as well as Mongolian dairy products and cuisines.
Demo and lecture have been given to feature the Mongolian lifestyle, the Three Manly Sports (wrestling, archery and horse race), clothes and custom. Moreover, traditional medical doctors have free-of-charge treated the visitors.
