Fidan Hajiyeva is first Azerbaijani opera singer to perform in Italy`s Rimini

Baku, June 25 (AzerTAc). The soloist of the State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, honored artist Fidan Hajiyeva became the first artist from Azerbaijan to perform on the stage in Italian city of Rimini.
Hajiyeva played a leading role in Puccini's 'Suor Angelica' opera.
Cattolica, Fano, Pesaro Bologna, Cesena, Forli and Cento cities of Italy will also host the opera.
“The performance in Rimini was successful and I am very glad that I had a chance to represent Azerbaijan abroad. Inshallah, in the near future you will hear me performing in La Scala. I will do my best to realize my wish,” Hajiyeva said.
Hajiyev noted that she had already got an offer for two more performances in Rome and Milan during her visit to Italy. She stressed the concerts are scheduled for the middle of the next month.
The visit will wrap up on Monday.
