Palestinian President officially welcomed to Azerbaijan
Baku (AzerTAc) - President of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas has today been given an official welcome to Azerbaijan.
A guard of honor was lined up for the Palestinian President at the square decorated with the national flags of the two countries.
President Mahmoud Abbas was welcomed by Azerbaijan`s President Ilham Aliyev.
The Presidents inspected a ceremonial Guard of Honor as an orchestra played the national anthems of Palestine and Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijani state and government officials were introduced to President Mahmoud Abbas, while members of the Palestinian delegation to President Ilham Aliyev.
The presidents posed for photographs.
