Foreign Minister look for support to Azerbaijan`s candidacy for non-permanent membership of UN Security Council

Baku (AzerTAc) - On the sidelines of the 38th Session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of the Islamic Conference in Astana, Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with his colleagues from Afghanistan, Morocco, Senegal, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Indonesia and Kazakhstan to discuss a question of support to Azerbaijan`s candidacy for non-permanent membership of UN Security Council.
Azerbaijan nominated its candidacy for the term of 2012-2013, at the elections to be held in 2011 at the 66th session of the UN General Assembly.
