Chairman of Azerbaijan Chamber of Accounts attends international conference in Kazakhstan

Baku (AzerTAc) - Chairman of Azerbaijan`s Chamber of Accounts Heydar Asadov participated in an international scientific-practical conference entitled “State Financial Control-an instrument for Economic Stabilization” in Astana, Kazakhstan.
Speaking to the event, Asadov noted the necessity of increasing the role of Supreme Audits Institutions in the countries.
The conference brought together chairman of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI), auditor general of the Republic of South Africa Terence Nombembe, chairman of the European Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ECOSAI), president of the Supreme Audit Court of Iran Asadi, director of the Turkish General Directorate for International cooperation and Development under the Government of the Republic of Turkey (TICA), chairman of the Account Chamber Sabyrbek Moldokulov, Auditor General of Estonia Mihkel Oviir and other heads of Supreme Audit Institutions, representatives of the World Bank and other international financial institutions, as well as Kazakhstan`s officials.
The conference dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the establishment of Kazakhstan account committee for control over the execution of the country`s budget.
The conference culminated with the adoption of a declaration.
