Azeri Premier meets ISSA Secretary General
Baku (AzerTAC) - Azerbaijan`s Prime Minister Artur Rasizade has met Secretary General of the International Social Security Association (ISSA) Hans-Horst Konkolewsky who is in Azerbaijan to attend a workshop on ”Social protection of migrant workers and globalization”.
Speaking at the meeting, Konkolewsky praised opening of ISSA Regional Coordination Center on Eurasia in Baku and noted this proved the Azerbaijani government paid special attention to social issues.
The speakers underlined the center would contribute to improving relations among relevant organizations.
Bringing together representatives from Germany, Russia, Holland, Albania, Poland, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Spain, Sweden, the workshop focused on the themes related with expansion of social protection worldwide, social protection of migrant workers in Eurasia, models on protection of the rights of migrant workers.
