Qatari Papers Highlights HH the Heir Apparent's Visit to Cairo

Doha, June 30 (QNA) - Qatari daily Arabic newspapers 'Al Watan' and 'Al Rayah' said in their editorials on Thursday that HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani's visit to Cairo today come to emphasize Qatar's active role in supporting Arab countries, saying that it gains a special importance because it will enhance and support relations between Qatar and Egypt and will benefit as well the people of both countries.
Al Watan daily said that Qatari leadership's policies has shown a determination to establish strong relationships with all Arab capitals in a framework of mutual respect and a sincere desire to cooperate.
Regarding the peaceful revolution in Egypt, the paper stressed that the observers unanimously praised Qatar's strong role in supporting the peaceful change made by the Egyptian people with courage through the January 25 Revolution.
Under the wise leadership of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, the State of Qatar has proven its seriousness to support the Arab peoples and to create a strong foundation for a joint Arab cooperation, Al Watan added.
The paper concluded by saying that observers believe that HH the Heir Apparent's one-day visit to Egypt represents Qatar's successful policies towards Arab Nations.
For its part, Al Rayah stressed in its editorial today that the State of Qatar has stood since the first day with the demands of the Egyptian people for change and supported the Egyptian budget with a loan of US$ 500 million.
The paper said that Qatar has also pledged to invest, according to previous statements by Qatari officials, up to $10 billion in the Egyptian market, which will contribute to support and promote the Egyptian economy and will provide as well a favorable climate to achieve the change demanded by the Egyptian people during January revolution.
Bilateral relations which had witnessed significant momentum during the past few months and enhancing Qatari-Egyptian partnership through investment and development projects, that Qatar seeks to establish in Egypt, will be on top of the agenda of HH the Heir Apparent's visit, Al Rayah added.
The paper described the relations between Qatar and Egypt as a strategic relationship aims to serve the people of both countries, pointing to Qatar's plan to pump $10 billion as investments in the Egyptian market during the next phase. (QNA)
