International technical seminar on labor migrants wraps up in Baku
Baku, June 30 (AzerTAc). An international technical seminar entitled “Social protection of labor migrants and globalization” was ended in Azerbaijan`s capital on Thursday.
The seminar was organized by Azerbaijan State Social Protection Fund, International Social Security Association (ISSA) and International Association of Pension and Insurance Funds.
The seminar brought together officials of insurance-pensions funds from Germany, Russia, Netherlands, Albania, Poland, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Spain, Sweden and other countries.
The seminar featured discussions on social protection of migrants in Eurasia, role of non-governmental pension funds in not decrease of incomes of pensioners, international models for protection of labors, the European Union`s policy on protection of labor migrants and their rights and other issues.
