Maliki: today, there is no marginalization of anyone, the government sees everyone as equals

Baghdad (NINA) - Prime Minister Nouri Al Maliki said today there is no marginalization of anyone, stressing that the Iraqi government sees all Iraqis as equal to each other.

A statement issued by Maliki’s office quoted him as saying, during a meeting with a gathering of tribal leaders and notables of Baghdad "we say a government of national partnership, and we divided the positions on this basis, then, we have to go back to the law and institutions."

He added "we must be a state in which all is keen on the national unity, we do not want to hear, here and there, talks about marginalization, because today there is no marginalization, and the government sees all Iraqis, blocks, and provinces as equals."

He continued: "Our goal today is to impose law and build national unity and stability, the political process is so far stable."

He concluded "every time Iraq undergoes a challenge, the tribes had their role in the field of confrontation, everyone should give sincere and good stances for the country not for the party or sect to which he belongs.” /End/
