Mexico-Azerbaijan Friendship Park to be built in Mexico
Baku, July 14 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani ambassador to Mexico Ilgar Mukhtarov has met with Mayor of Mexico City Marcelo Ebrard to discuss building of a Mexico-Azerbaijan Friendship Park.
The Azerbaijani ambassador thanked the city leadership for support and highlighted the importance of the project to develop cultural and political relations.
The parties signed an agreement of mutual understanding concerning the construction of the park.
Mukhtarov spoke of prospects for political, economic, cultural, tourism ties between Azerbaijan and Mexico. He invited Mayor of Mexico City to pay a visit to Azerbaijan.
Speaking in the meeting, Ebrard praised expansion of cultural relations between the two countries and noted the importance of joint projects.
