Nuseif warns of "a Kuwaiti-international conspiracy" to keep Iraq under Chapter VII

Baghdad (NINA) - MP Aliya Nuseif from the White Iraqiya Slate warned of "a Kuwaiti-international conspiracy to keep Iraq under Chapter VII of the UN Charter.

She said in a statement today "the U.S. administration remained silent towards the establishment of the Kuwaiti port Mubarak, the US admin also disappointed us when it left us under Chapter VII in support of the position of its Kuwaiti friends."

Nuseif went on saying "today, the British position, as the second superpower that participated in the occupation of Iraq, to keep Iraq under Chapter VII, unfortunately, its position is not any different than the America position, especially as we consider the statement of the British ambassador in Iraq, in which he noted that Kuwait and for many years spoke about the establishment of port Mubarak, therefore it is Kuwait’s right to build it.”


She added "this American-British bias to Kuwait in light of this tension between Baghdad and Kuwait, aims at involving Iraq to respond to Kuwait, and thus it will be considered a concern in the region according to the criteria set by the great powers, a matte that would keep us longer time under Chapter VII."

She called on the government and parliament to "understand the situation well and realize the dimensions of the Kuwaiti-international conspiracy and the extent of its danger on the future of Iraq politically, economically and security". /End/
