Power- (Power outage swelled due to electricity short fall surge)  

ISLAMABAD, July 21, 2011 (PPI):  People are facing a 12 to 14 hours load shedding in urban areas and 14 to 16 hours in rural areas owing to acute power crisis. The power outage has increased as electricity short fall has surged.
 
The power crisis has worsened in Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Quetta, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and other cities of the country. There is a shortage of water in many areas, increasing the miseries of the people.
