480 Russian children to spent vacations in China.  

    VLADIVOSTOK, July 30 (Itar-Tass) - A group of 480 Russian children
vacationing at the Ocean summer camp near the Far Eastern city of
Vladivostok on Saturday set off for a ten-day visit to China.
    Russian children will visit the cities of Qingdao, Dalian, and
Shanghai at the invitation of Chinese President Hu Jintao. The group
includes 48 children, who are activists of children's movements and high
achievers in school disciplines, the camp's press service said.
    The Vladivostok-Avia airline organized two special flights to take the
Russian children to China.
    The Chinese program features numerous excursions, meetings with
Chinese children, and joint concerts.
    This will a second such visit to China by Russian children.
    In 2008-2009, a total of 1,573 Chinese children from the Sichuan
province hit by a devastating earthquake visited a number of Russian
regions at the invitation of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. About 900
Chinese schoolchildren spent their vacations at the Ocean summer camp.
