Cuban parliament speaker plans to visit Iran

TEHRAN, Aug. 1 (MNA) -- Ricardo Alarcón de Quesada, the president of the National Assembly of People’s Power of Cuba, plans to travel to Iran to attend an international conference on Palestine, which is scheduled to be held in Tehran in early October.

He made the announcement in Havana on Sunday during a meeting with Hossein Sobhaninia, who submitted Iranian Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani’s invitation letter to the Cuban official.
