BOXERS LEAVE FOR SOUTH KOREA


Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ On Tuesday, boxers of the state selected team left for the Republic of Korea to take part in the Asian Amateur Boxing Championship. It will run August 5-13 in Incheon.
Due a situation in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Amman city missed the chance of hosting this year's Asian championship that was to take place June 17-27. The 26th Asian championship will attract 160 boxers from 23 countries, who will compete in the men's ten weight categories.
The host country, also China, India, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan will fight in all weight categories, the Mongolian national team in eight. Coached by D.Ganzorig and R.Sainbileg, the national team consists of P.Serdamba (49 kg), N.Togstsogt
(52 kg), D.Otgondalai (56 kg), Z.Enkhzorig (60 kg), U.Monkh-Erdene (64 kg), N.Tuvshinbat (69 kg), T.Chuluuntomor (75 kg), and Kh.Mandakhbayar (-91 kg).
