Trade unions youth regional conference kicks off in Baku
Baku, August 11 (AzerTAc). A two-day regional conference of the trade unions youth entitled “Trade unions campaigns and efficient informative support to them” has today started in Azerbaijan`s capital.
The conference is co-organized by the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (ATUC) and the Pan-European Regional Council (PERC) of the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC).
The conference brought together representatives of ATUC, ITUC and mass media.
Addressing the event, deputy chairman of ATUC Agil Dadashov said that the aim of the conference is to increase trade unions youth`s experiences, competences on campaigns carrying out in national trade unions stressing the importance of the conference.
Dadashov also provided information on ATUC`s activity underlining the role of youth in confederation work.
Representatives of ITUC Anton Lepic, Anna Salnikov and others informed participants on confederation`s activity, aims, role of international organizations in defense in labor law.
