Azerbaijan triples daily gas supplies to Turkey
Baku, August 13 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s state oil firm, SOCAR, has said it is tripling the volume of the oil supplied to Turkey.
Turkey will now receive 16 million cubic meters of gas per day instead of previous 6 million cubic meters.
Turkey`s gas shortage was caused by a recent blast on a pipeline which supplied gas to the country from Iran.
Azerbaijan is supplying gas to Turkey from Shahdeniz field in the Caspian Sea.
