Salahov elected full member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts

Baku, August 23 (AzerTAc). The world known artist, the People`s Artist of Azerbaijan and Russia, the vice-president of Russian Academy of Arts Tahir Salahov has been elected as full member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts on the nomination of art.
Presentation of the Diploma will be at the plenary session to take place on March 3, 2012 in Salzburg.
The European Academy of Sciences and Arts unites more than 1400 members. Its most well-known members are His Majesty Pope Benedict XVI and 28 Nobel Prize winners.
The members of the Academy are organized in seven scientific classes: I. Humanities; II. Medicine; III. Arts; IV. Natural Sciences; V. Social Sciences, Law and Economics; VI. Technical and Environmental Sciences; VII. World Religions. The Academy is known for its various projects, numerous seminars and symposiums.
