ZHOU YONGKANG ATTENDS EVENTS WITHIN HIS VISIT

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ In a scope of his official visit to Mongolia, a member of the Politburo Standing Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the Secretary of CPC Central Political and Legislative Committee Mr. Zhou Yongkang has got acquainted with the course of a “Gegeen melmii” humanitarian campaign run at the Ophthalmology Section of the 3rd City Policlinics named after P.N.Shastin.
This campaign started on August 21 in frames of the official visit of Mr. Yongkang, and free-of-charge surgeries of lens implant have been done on some people with cataract. After these surgeries, Mr. Yongkang presented sterilization apparatus to the hospital.
Afterwards, a delegation led by Mr. Yongkang has attended a ceremony of laying a foundation stone for a new micro-district named “Shine Yaarmag”. Present at this ceremony were S.Batbold, the Prime Minister of Mongolia and Ch.Khurelbaatar, head of the Cabinet Secretariat of Government. At the event, the Premier has noted that the Government of Mongolia is intensifying a work to provide its people with apartments at lowest prices, and the new micro-district was a big step towards this work.
